EOG funds

Thanks to the EOG and  Norwegian funds: Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norwaycontribute to the reduction of social and economic inequalityand the strengthening of bilateral relations with beneficiary countries in Europe. Three countries cooperate together with the EU on the basis of the Agreement on the European Economic Area (EEA Agreement). In  the period 2009 – 2014 the value of the funds of the EEA and Norwegian funds is 1.79 billion.Norway provides approximately 97% of total funding.Funds are available to non-governmental organizations, research institutions and universities, for the public sector and the private sector in 12 newly recruited EU Member States and in Greece, Portugal and Spain.

The most important areas of support include the environment and climate change, research and scholarships, civil society, health care and support for children, gender equality, justice and cultural heritage.

Moda na tolerancję benefit from the funds in amount of 220 000 from Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway under the EEA funds. The aim of the project is monitoring, documenting, spreading information, interventions against acts of intolerance, aggression, discrimination in everyday life and the hate speech on the Internet towards Romani.
